Native Son Letter :: Native Son Richard Wright

June 17, 1938 Dear Bigger, This letter comes to you since, I don't think you acted like a good example as your character in Native Son. You assume a colossal job in the book. I might want to do what you get the chance to do, for example, going any place you need whenever. Strolling around slighting your folks won't help your relationship with them improve. You stroll around with your closest companions that are underage smoking and drinking which are setting terrible models. From your kin, and your mothers perspective I don't feel that conduct would be worthy. Ordinary you stroll around with your hanging down attempting to locate somebody to take your resentment out on the grounds that you settled on an awful choice. You ought not underestimate your folks and sister. On the off chance that you ask me I would not affront my folks as you do. I'm happy my folks are here on this Earth. They deal with me and I'm not going to underestimate it. At the point when I grow up I would prefer not to be a smoker or a consumer. At the point when I get frantic I do whatever it takes not to take my resentment out on another person. I'm generally only distraught at myself for the idiotic choice I made. Genuinely,
